Wow! I enjoyed it!!! :)

I had been to Chennai this weekend to meet my friends. Had the best of times in recent past there… Spent two lovely fast days with them after so long. But the fun didn’t end when I was to board my bus back to Hosur! The reason??? The bus waiting for me was a brand new Multi-axle Volvo 9400!!! It’s the latest and the first multi-axle bus in the country. Volvo just introduced it a few months back.

I was absolutely thrilled to see it and almost even forgot friends who had come to send me off! :P I went around clicking a few quick pics as it was time for departure. But it was 2300hrs in the night and I couldn’t manage a better shot with my mobile cam :)

The ride was typical Volvo isolating the cabin completely from the road. The twin rear axles only made it better! The way it picked up pace was terrific. It was an awesome experience…

And finally I was woken up somewhere in the middle of a good sleep to be told I had to get down! Yes! It was Hosur in just four and a half hours!!, a distance that usually takes 6 hours…. 9400 has thundered down the roads!

Man… what a feat of engineering it is!
I envy the driver of that 9400! He’s got my dream job! :D

When God picked his paint brush...

Beautiful fishes! Are'nt they?
These are no ordinary fishes. They are Crown Fighters! My friend grows them here at our hostel and watching them swim around the tiny tank is something i can do for hours together!

These fighters spread out and show off all their wonderful colours only when they are about to fight (show of strength!)... But we cant let that happen because the irony is that for a fight to end, one of them must die...

So the three lovely beauties remain in their seperate tanks with most of their beauty hidden for life....
